Learning bars separately is not the same as playing the piece. Clef first checks short groups from memory, then joins neighboring groups into progressively longer runs until the whole section connects.

This piece is rated intermediate. Your hands will be doing very different things at the same time. You should be comfortable with bigger chords and moving across the keyboard. To give you an idea, it's harder than Moonlight Sonata, 1st movement, but a bit easier than Fantasie in D minor, K. 397.
Can I learn The Entertainer as a beginner?
It is not a first piece. You want comfortable hands-together playing and some pieces already learned before this one will be enjoyable rather than discouraging. Moonlight Sonata, 1st movement is a better place to start.
Do I need to read sheet music?
